Your First Reformer Pilates Class: What to Expect
Trying Reformer Pilates for the first time can feel a little daunting. Springs, straps and a moving carriage may look complicated, but you do not need any previous experience to begin.
Our Reformer Foundations class introduces the equipment at a comfortable pace. Your instructor will explain how the Reformer works, help you set it up and guide you through every movement.
Wear comfortable, close-fitting clothes that allow you to move freely. Grip socks are recommended, and it is helpful to arrive a few minutes early. This gives you time to settle in and tell your instructor about any injuries, health conditions or concerns.
During the class, expect controlled movements that work the whole body. You will focus on breathing, alignment and moving the carriage smoothly. The aim is not to keep up or perform perfectly. It is to understand the movement and work at a level that feels right for you.
You may leave feeling taller, calmer and more connected to your body. The equipment will feel more familiar each time you return, and confidence will build naturally.
Soul Reformer Club is a welcoming space where progress matters more than perfection. Simply arrive as you are and let us guide you from there.
